Mill Creek Outfitters was established in 2013, offering elk and antelope hunting on over 11,000 acres of primarily private land bordering national forest, which before being purchased in 2012 had not allowed hunting in over twenty years. The elk hunting was leased in 2012 with great success. We did not allow hunting in 2013 as we were preserving the hunting for our clients.
At Mill Creek Outfitters we are very proud to offer fully guided hunts out of our newly built lodge. Upon arrival in Laramie Wyoming guests will be transported to the lodge located in the heart of the hunting area, no sleeping in cold tents or long early morning drives. Our property ranges from the Laramie Plains, mountain foothills, to timbered mountain land. Antelope are plentiful in all three types of terrain and elk are found in the foothills and mountain areas, providing hunters with a tailored hunt to their own abilities and desires. Hunters will be provided lodging, hot showers and three fully cooked meals a day at the lodge. Each hunter will be accompanied by a licensed guide, and we will either transport animals to a local processor and taxidermist, or will cape and quarter animal for the hunter to send to the processor and taxidermist of their choice.
